Why does ABSA bank force clients to pay for insurance for the year in advance. the insurance amount is simply add to your bond and then the monthly installment is increased to make up for the insurance amount in the mean time you pay interest on that money. when inquiring from them not to add it to the bond I was told that they can not do it that way. this is ridiculous and stealing from their clients

Good day I have had a funeral policy with Hollard since 2000. I have paid monthly for 17 years. Paid over R17 000 to Hollard over the years. Due to bank miscommunications my Debit order for end of April and May did not run. There was a R20 short on double debit order for end of May.
