Im with Affinithy health the day i spoke to sales person i asked them if my children gets sick with ears tonsils anything how long does it take for the cover to be affected. The man said mam only 3 months then you are covered. What a big fat lie its a full year. I spoke to 2 different persons yesterday to seek answers nobody has phoned me back. my son is very sick due to tonsils he is 18 still in school. he is more at home then at school. Firstly they sent us messages threatening to take legal action against us for an amount that the medical aid subsequently paid. My grandmother bought an Apex Rapid medical scooter from them, with a promise to help her sell it if she can't seem to handle it & now afterwards a lot of stories. The scooter cost her a fortune. I am admitted at bell street hospital and when the Doctor called me for my sessions I went to my daily sessions when 2 of the cleaners were shouting telling everyone the way I am dressed. I phoned casualty this morning 1/3/2017 at 3.30 and told sister I was in severe pain and if they could help me. She told me that they would help me. When I got there someone was supposed to get my file. When I eventually got hold of this admin clerk around 4.00 he told me rudely he wont get it now and I have to wait till 5.00. They were not busy and a doctor was available. This admin guy just didn't feel like it to get my file and he went and stood outside hospital.

on Thursday my mother was admitted to hospital and we insisted the nurses have a look at the file from baragwanath hospital of the prescription she is currently tsking and the nurses simply told us they cannot read the file plus when the patients complain or ask for help the nurses get argitated and yell at the patitents.. today the drip is empty and they told us the wont take the drip off and now blood is coming out

Lancet must have the worst account system that I have ever dealt with. In June 2016 I received a statement from Lancet requesting me to pay R278.00 which I promptly did. In October I was advised that the account had a credit of R278.00 due to me and and sent my details. This carried on with me sending emails querying the status. Today I phone and get informed that I was not due a refund and that my account has a debit of R29.00. Every time Lancet has an account it is an absolute mess.
