I am really pissed off by medscheme polmed .Their service is really falling apart.I went to the chemist the other day they refused to pay for my medication.moreover i am called by pathcare and radiologist that i must pay their money .why is polmed so incompetent .month end they deduct their money in full but i cannot be helped in full .Since this med scheme took over its a disaster .They pay what they want to pay .if they refuse they refuse

During 2016 I enquired about transferring my medical aid plan from a coastal saver option to a classic core option. I was told by a call centre operator that this would be an upgrade and I would have to wait till the end of the year (open period) to change. What a company to deal with. I am struggling to get my claims for almost a year now and every time a different call centre agent ask different questions. I have spoken to a very arrogant call centre agent who did not give me a chance to speak. I left bankmed on 31 July 2016. When I left this medical aid scheme I had an Rx amount of money that were my savings. Early December 2016 I made a call to bankmed to enquire about these funds and when would they be paid out. The consultant advised me about the balance and that it was subject to change should there be any claims before it gets paid out and THE DATE IT WILL BE PAID OUT WOULD BE 12 DECEMBER 2016. I now have submitted my claim for a 3rd time as claims just aren't paid. I have also included my Chronic Treatment Plan with the claim as 6 months ago I had the same issues. They just can’t get a claim paid out correctly the first time. I have asked advice on what I should do different to get the claims paid out correctly the first time but also no response on this. (Shame, they probably also don't have a solution to this, what a shame I have to belong to such a medical aid)

ON 24 NOV 2016 WE DOWNLOADED FORMS FROM THE BONITAS MEDICAL FUND WEBSITE IN ORDER TO REGISTER MY WIFE AS A DEPENDANT ON MY MEDICAL AID. I was asked to go for a blood test for Cholesterol by Momentum Health Returns because Health Assessment reading said Cholesterol was high. I did the test but to date Momentum cannot tell me if they received the report. Furthermore if you call then you must hold on the call gets cut and there is no follow up call to say they are sorry and then they want us to rate their service.
