I tried to enter the post office on the stroke of 16:30 not a minute later only to have the door slammed in my face literally! Dustbin was delivered at my place at my absence n I have a dustbin. They charging me abnormal charges when I ask they saying therebis nothing they can do about it. How can I be charged for something that I was not explained and signed for? Bus 2086 metrobus. Almost caused an accident but pushing himself into my lane and using both lanes. When we hooked and told him about this he through coffee into my window. We have had no power since Thursday , 26th of Jan 2017 from 16h00, it was reported on first thing on Friday. I have received an estimated amount for waster and rates for the last 3 months, and paid the estimated amounts and now 3 months later received an account for more than R 7,000.00 which is now an actual amount which the City Council expect me to pay on or before the 31st January 2017 or take of time to go to the offices and make some sort of arrangement to pay if off. Why is this. I did not budget for that amount to be paid.

Water has been gushing freely from a clearly defective manhole on the sidewalk in Leeuwen Street, Bo-Kaap for more than 24 hours with no urgency from the City of Cape Town to at least stop the flow! We have not been receiving statements for a few months for our vacant piece of land and when I received the statement it showed that we are in arrears even though we pay R 300.00 a months. Now they are claiming that the basic water and electricity that they are charging is part of the rates and taxes. We are also billed for a basic sewerage fee but that is credited again. I have tried to phone City of Joburg three times now and have been cut off once when asked to "please hold", second time I asked not to be put on hold and the kind lady on the other side pretended not to be there but I could hear background noises and the third time was cut off before even getting to a consultant.
