On Tuesday 3 Jan friends and I went with a visitor from overseas to what we thought would be a quick good meal at Canal Walk. It was a disaster from beginning to end. Ordered breakfast at 08h45 on Monday, 2nd January 2017, and waited..... 09h15 We asked the very confused and incompetent waiter to follow-up on our order. No feedback came, meanwhile many other guests arrived, ordered their food and were being served. At 09h40 the waiter returned, telling us that they are now going to start our order..... On Boxing Day evening I was one of a party of six at Ocean Basket, Kloof Street, Cape Town. The food for five of us arrived one hour and twenty minutes after we entered the restaurant; the sixth individual had to wait an extra five minutes. Good day, We went to the Ocean Basket in Clearwater last night 24/11/2016. we waited about a 1/2 hour for our food and when it arrived it was cold. We sent it back and it did come back hot but tasted absolutely horrible. We placed an take away order today for 6 fish and chips. The fish were dry and rubbery and when we complaint the manager told me that they don't specialize in fish and if i want decent fish i should order from Ocean Basket. Once again Tongaat Nandos has done it with their pathetic customer service.
