My PVR Decoder which is a xtra view linked to the Explora just stopped working. As it is insured I took it to the DSTV Customer Service Centre in Randburg and was replaced with the same. I got home the same problem persisted and we called an Installer who after calling the customer service line, spending R100 of airtime and almost 3 hours of fiddling concluded that the replacement instrument was not adequate. I have been on this payment plan of DSTV for the past 2 years. My monthly installment was R849 a month from May 2015 up to May 2017. According to my calculation R850 x 24months adds up to R20400. I have after numerous e-mails still not received any feedback regarding re-instating my dual view (DUNDEE KZN 26211050) Cell: 0845898784 up to now (4th June 2017 03:39pm) and just would like to know what company gives service on that standard. I have a Telkom mobile (8ta) contract and all of a sudden, since about four months ago, I have cell phone access MAYBE 50% of the day, 70% of my calls drop and practically NO internet access, all at the same locations as before. I bought decoder from OK in Mafikeng on the 5th January 2017.Part of the package include installation. Redibone agency was the one installing the decoder. It was installed three weeks later.Since installation the reception is bad; view is completely blurred. Some channels are not available at all even though paid for.
