I had paid my premium early but they still debited my account and caused me to run into extra fees from my bank. when i called and asked that one amount be refunded they agreed to and subsequently did so. I have changed the debit order details on my account in September 2016. Since then my service has been suspended every month as Multichoice insists on debitting the wrong account. I have called in numerous times to fix this. All the consultants i have spoken to has assured me that it has been changed on the system. Once again i wake up to find my service suspended. After being promised delivery and receiving an sms that my new explora was being dispatched, It took me more than a week to telephonically reach On Air only to be told that there is no stock and I would receive my new decoder mid Jan 2017. On the 30th Nov 2016 I bought a dstv decoder with installation at pepcell Jane furse, but when they must come to install they tell me about R150.00 that I must pay whereas the distance is not over 25km. It's been 3 months that I have had a bad connection with my DSTV. Took my decoder for testing on numerous occasions and still it is not sorted. I have rebooted and had an accredited installer who came to my house on numerous occasions to check if it was connected in a proper way and they'll charge me R300 everytime they come to my house and still nothing has changed. My wife and I decided to downgrade our DSTV package to the R29 per month option. We timeously informed DSTV of our choice my accessing our online account ant altering our choice accordingly. On the first of October 2016 DSTV subtracted an amount R678 from my wife's account. Worst of all DSTV plays ignorance of this debited amount although I submitted proof of this deduction to them. Multichoice is a joke their employees dont know how to do their jobs you as customer need to tell them what to do and they are unfriendly and unhelpfull. Employee told me to phone dstv, about my payment not reflecting on account, by phone im told to take bank statements to branch. This is frustrating, in a couple of days my dstv will be cut off even if its paid.Who will pay those extra fees??? Do I get intrest on my money lying in their account. I have been double charged since Dec 2015. I called the call centre on the 25th of September to request a refund of the R10 000 overbilled.
