Telkom Complaints - Bad Service

I am dissatisfied about the service i had received from telkom mobile, On Friday 2017/11/24 I went to the Sandton Telkom Mobile store with the aim to upgrade one of my contracts to the black Friday deals, The Package I wanted to upgrade to is a free me 1 GB On a Huawei P10 [email protected] R199.00.

I waited in a long Que only to be told that the Black Friday specials deals, Only to be told, the Black Friday deals are only available online. Understandably so, I then went online and tried to process the upgrade, however to my surprise the online website page kept on going offline. I then spoke to one of the call center agents and was told that I should call 10213, which i did, waited for an hour and got cut off.

On Saturday (2017/11/25) I went to the telkom mobile website and tried to process the upgrade online and finally I received a message saying that my upgrade application has been pre approved and one of the friendly agents will be in touch. On Monday Morning 27/11/2017 I then called Telkom mobile Sales department, just to follow up and Loraine Van Wyk answered telling me that my upgrade was never processed, she then tried to process my upgrade, when she was about to confirm the delivery of the handset, the line cut and i never received any call from Loraine Van Wyk.

Throughout the whole conversation I had with Loraine, To my surprise the lady was very impatient with me when I wanted to find out about the details of the contract, she was very rude, her attitude was really bad.

I was really patient with her because I just needed to get the deal, however I do not wish any other customer to experience what I have experienced Telkom has given me. This Morning I had spoken to Tshilidzi Makhado from customer care and she was very helpful. She promised took my details and promised me both Lorraine Van Wyk will contact me but no one has contacted me. Please note that my contract has reached its expiry and is on a month to month. Please help as I am really really getting frustrated and do not know what to do any more. my Mobile No is 061451 8599
