Discovery Health Complaints - Disgusting Service

Discovery Health have always been at the forefront of medical aid schemes and to say I am absolutely disgusted in their recent service would be an understatement. I have been a member of theirs from a very young age and pay a fortune to them each year for my families health.

My wife is pregnant with our first child and I tried incredibly hard to activate our Maternity Benefits but to no avail as neither the Discovery App nor the Website allowed me to activate the benefit. I have now been told that my wife, who is not the primary member and who doesn't receive any correspondence or pay the account is the only one who can activate the account and that Discovery will not backdate any of the benefits which are due to us on our plan!

How in this world is it possible to CHEAT someone out of the full functionality of their benefits in the hope that they will not activate their account and receive all the perks which are due to them?

Not even the staff at Discovery could tell me how to activate the account online or on the app and said the only way was by calling the call center which is NOT what the website or the correspondence says!

This problem WILL be sorted out by Discovery or I will move Medical Aid schemes and be sure to make a massive deal about this on all social media platforms...
