Garmin South Africa Complaints - DON'T BUY GARMIN

Not even four months after purchasing a Garmin Forerunner 30 the watch literally fell off my wrist when the strap broke. This wouldn't be the end of the world if there was some sort of after sales service from Garmin. Take it to one of our local agents and they will do with it" says Garmin. However, I am now expected to pay a R 250 courier cost to send the watch back to them. This is clearly an inferior and defective product and I am not the only one to experience this problem so why should I have to fork out R 250 because of Garmin's lousy quality product. They even said that an additional payment might be required before they send the watch back to me.
