Old Mutual Complaints - Faulty Headset - Terrible service

I bought a A10 Headset for my son for
Christmas, after opening it for the first time he realized the right earphone and mic doesn't work...we had it replaced only to find the second headset faulty with exactly the same problem.
When you go into settings to test the volume it sometimes pickup but disconnect continuously. Neil from the Centurion branch insist on testing this headset (not in store where we are present) but will do it at home - I'm not at all happy with this because I have no way of seeing wat he says is true or not! I need to replace this headset with the Recon 200 (its the same value) or if not I want my money back?
