CITY OF CAPE TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT Complaints - FAULTY WATER METER

ON 17 SEPTEMBER A COMPLAINT WAS LODGED WITH WATER DEPARTMENT REGARDING EXCESSIVE WATER ACCOUNT RECEIVED. AN INSPECTOR (TONY) CAME TO THE PROPERTY AND INSPECTED THE WATER METER AND CONCURRED THE METER WAS FAULTY.
THE COCK STOP IS TURNED OFF AND THERE IS NO WATER TO THE PREMISES. DETECT-A-LEAK WAS AT THE PROPERTY SOME 4 MONTHS AGO AND FOUND NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER.
ON 21 SEPTEMBER 2018 AND EVERY DAY SINCE THEN WE HAVE BEEN TO THE BELLVILLE MUNICIPALITY FOR A PROGRESS REPORT ON WHEN THE METER IS GOING TO BE REPLACED. NOBODY KNOWS AND CANNOT GIVE A DEFINITIVE ANSWER.
WHAT DO I DO NOW TO GET SOMEONE TO REPLACE THE WATER METER ???
