Hi Puseletso

Apology accepted,

What are you going to do now about incorrect hand over. I do not have access to Mylife since it’s a long time not studying.
No letter of demand. The same email you sent reply, has never changed.
You had my address where you can serve notices. Incorrect cell number I have never had the same. You have my cell as 083 263 8067.
I send my son personally in February no feedback received there is proof of who attended him.

Kindly resolve this matter remove my name from 3rd party and provide me with the amount to be paid by me.

Regards

Alfred Dlamini

Dear Mr Dlamini

My apologise for the delayed response.

Please note that Unisa uses the following methods post, email and SMS to communicate with students.

In 2013 Unisa was affected by the post office strike as a result statements could not be delivered on time to students . This challenge was communicated on the news and also via the myunisa platforms. However Unisa emailed all correspondence to students via the mylife account. I managed to retrieve a copy of one of the letter which was emailed to your email address [email protected], communicating the outstanding balance, dated 16-08-2013.

Unisa uses the mylife email address to communicate to students because students change their personal contact details and they do not inform Unisa. It remains your responsibility to inform the University of any changes in your contact details and to check all your correspondences sent via mylife email account.
Unfortunately the University does not have the resources to trace and collect debts, hence the use of external debt collectors.

We have it on record that SMS’s were delivered to your contact number (0833098212) in our database, see below for your ease of reference.

Please note that Unisa does not black list student, we rely on our debt collector (NICS) to use resources available to trace students and collect on behalf of Unisa.

Please find the last correspondence I received from UNISA. There was no change in my residential address where all legal notices must be sent as per confirmation from UNISA last correspondence. Note that I am still claiming my credit from UNISA.

I DO NOT KNOW ANY CORRESPONDANCE SENT TO ME BY UNISA. My cell number has never been change its 083 263 8067 which you have in your data base.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi K

Please note that I have not received any correspondence to 79 Hollesley Road, Bluff, on my address and on the same cell 0837968517 in which you called me no message from UNISA for about a year. I told them and send a letter after I was given a credit on my account of R1200.00. I will forward you the letter.

My son copied here send the copy of a letter to UNISA in finance office in Pretoria and they said they going to follow up the matter till today nothing happened.

Thank you

Alfred Dlamini
