Faiprice Complaints - Poor and unprofessional service

On Saturday 2020-03-07 I was assisted by Girly Mahlangu at fairprice kwaggafontein when i purchased the gas stove and the wardrobe and I was told that the wardrobe
wardrobe will come in boxes and I must not open those boxes as they will send someone
someone from fairprice to do a free assembly. I was told that my items will be delivered to me within 10 working days,on the 20 March 2020 I phoned the store and told them that I have not received my items and I was told that according to their records I have received the items. On the 26 March I phoned them again and asked as to when am I going to get my items as we were about to approach the lockdown, I phoned them and told them to cancel my order but on the someday at about 23:00 they delivered my items. The next day I phoned to ask about the assembling and they told me that they will only be able to assist me after the lockdown have been uplifted or I must provide my own transport to fetch the assembler who was about 85km away from my place.i phoned the regional manager by the name of Mr Moodley and he assured me that once they reopen they will make my assembly first priority. On the 1st June 2020 I phoned the store manager by the name of Ayanda and regional manager and they told me that before 05 june 2020 my wardrobe will be assembled but it was not done until the 12 June 2020 when I decided to drive from brits to kwaggafontein to personally find out as to what was happening as they were making empty promises over the phone. The store manager contacted the assembling company and they confirmed that it will be assembled on the 18 June 2020 and when I phoned the assembler on that saneday he did not answer the my calls and I phoned the store manager and he said i must find my own carpenter but i told him that i cannot do that what if some items are missing in the boxes or something is broken, who must pay the carpenter,who will be responsible for anything which can go wrong and he responded by saying" I cannot assist you with anything and you must make whatever decision which will make you happy". I immediately phoned the regional manager and he said he will give me feedback on 19 june 2020 before 09:30 so i am still waiting for the feedback.
