Vodacom Complaints - Promande

Bought a device at Vodacom 2 months ago, I was asked by the consultant if I would like insurance my reply was yes. Consultant allow me sign up without out explaining the policies of the insurance. On Saturday 09.11.2019 I when to put in a claim due to the device got stolen. I was then told about excesses fee of 15% which I was not aware of and I feel that bad communication regarding the fee. Today 11.11.2019 I went and the device was approved at the claims department still having a dispute of paying the 15% Vodacom now want to send me the contract conditions on the insurance. I spoke to Aziz at the Vodacom store him explaining that Vodacom will not entertain the dispute, then I asked to speak to the area manager which called me 15mins ago (09:37am 11.11.2019) who did not evens give me hearing and being extremely rude stating that I should take the issue up with the insurance department of yelling and threw the phone down while I was still explaining my dilemma. Vodacom need to improve on their customer service and should be more professional when dealing with client’s issues. They more in the hurry to sell one an item without proper explanation regarding contract/policies conditions. I am not willing to pay the excess fee of 15% due to bad communications. I would like this matter to be resolved and Vodacom should call me with someone more professional. Disgusted client Janine Armoed. 074 211 7058
