MBD Complaints - Say I still owe them money

Got a settlement amount from call centre lady on WOolworths credit card debt which was handed over to MBD. I confirmed the amount by 3 different ladies. With my consent, they debited my account. I got an email today saying I still owe money, and that the amount given to me was an estimate. When i phoned to query this, I was told the amount owing now, is nearly R3000 more. I sent many emails asking for a paid up letter, since march 2019, and no one came back to me. Today, i get an email saying my account is not paid up.

What must I do now?
