MTN Complaints - Still charged for returned phone 6 months later

MTN Direct couriered a phone suppose to be an upgrade June 2018. My underaged son did not want the so called upgrade as in fact it was a downgrade (Samsung to a Hiscence 170). I visited 4 MTN stores, all stores in Witbank, Middelburg and then Pretoria(Menlyn Park) to return this phone. All refused, excuse was they do not deal with MTN Direct. MTN should be MTN?


After reporting to my lawyers the phone was returned by courier, receival was confirmed and a cancellation number was received. This contract was ended, however I am still charged for this phone 6 months after it was returned and after reporting to MTN this line is not in use since June 2018.

I have stopped paying for this phone, however MTN invoice me every month since June 2018 after they promised all funds would be refunded??????

This is fraud! please assist?
