vodacom Complaints - Unfair business practise

I bought a Nokia 5 in December 2017 on the 15th and I didn't have any issues till approximately 20 days of use. The phone started having all sorts of problems, for instance, it started overheating, freezing,apps were not opening up. until I made a decision to take it back to Menlyn Edgars were I had bought it. I was given a proof of purchase and instructed to go to Vodacom of the repairs.
The phone was ready for collection in about 7 days and worked well until 2 weeks after where it now was having the same issues but only worse.
I took the phone to Brooklyn and indicated that the phone is just not working and instructed them that I needed a refund but once again the phone was booked in and after a week I received a msg that the phone needs a sum of R613.19 in order for the further repairs to be done.
oh the chargers stopped working within the 1st month.

I think that considering that I paid cash for the phone and I have literally used it for a totally a month. I should be refunded the money I paid for it
