Auto & General Complaints - Worst Service

I recently joined Auto & General insurance company, after I was warned by a lot of people I know that they are the worst insurance company to do business with. Today I arrived at tiger wheel and tyre Wonderboom after my rear tyres were damaged. I submitted a claim, photos and a quotation that was asked from me by an agent who was assisting me called Nomsa. I arrived at Wonderboom at 12:00 today and waited for a response regarding my claim. I kept on calling, not the other way around and got the response that my claim is being processed. I made another call at 15:30 after hours of waiting to still enquire on the outcome of my claim, then I was told that my claim won’t be processed before my next debit order goes off! I waited for 3 and a half hours, after speaking to so many agents when following up, not a single agent I spoke to from the beginning informed me that my claim won’t be approved until the November payment date was due! I have wasted a day sitting and nothing was done. I was stuck with a car that had damaged rear tyres and couldn’t move from the dealer. I have never received such poor unprofessional service from an insurance company. Auto & General’s service is the worst insurance company service I have ever received or even consider doing further business with. Please stay away people, they will take your money every month and never pay you and leave you in destitute. I repeat people,please do not use Auto & General at all. They must just say they need people to donate to them monthly. What’s the use of having insurance when they can’t help you in your darkest hour.
