African Bank Complaints - Worst service

I have contacted AfricanBank several times since March 2014, to close my credit card. I received my settlement letter eventually, after a few phone calls and been cut off during conversations and put through to diffent departments.

I paid the amount and thought my account was closed, after I did what they said, to sent the proof of payment, my id and a letter requesting the closure, a debit order still went through in April, I phoned again and the agent said that there was never a request to close my account and she requested another closure saying that the amount will be refunded in 7 working days.

Well its almost a month since that day and I phoned again... The guy then told me a total different story and said that the reason for this was that they wanted to retain me, he put me through to rentention department, but I got cut off again. I phoned again immediately after I got cut off.

Now the lady told of the me that she would help after I told her whathad happened, but the closure was put in NOW and that I would get my refund in 3 working days(different procedures), but that I am being refunded less than was deducted.

I requested her to refund my full payment, she agreed.

I am waiting now to see if they will deduct again, but will never do business with them again.
